The family loves her stew. It is one of my favorite meals. She would put in the stew everything, but the kitchen sink as the old saying goes.  Grandma's Homemade Stew Ingredients 1 1/2 lbs. stew meat or a small beef roast 3 large potatoes, peeled, cubed 2 large carrots, peeled and diced 1/2 cups chopped onions 2 large celery stalked, cubed 1 canned cut green beans, drained and washed 1 canned whole kernel corn drained and washed 1 canned diced tomatoes 1 can tomatoes sauce salt and pepper to taste Place cubed meat in large skillet with water. I slipped and fell off the porch. Everyone ran to help me up from the ground. My ankle hurt bad. Mama and Grandma insisted I go to the hospital and get checked out. I was not ready for this, but I was hurting badly. The whole family went to the hospital with me. The doctor told us that I had sprung my ankle and I would have to stay off it for a while. I could not believe this had happened to me. I was eager to return to school on Monday.
